Looking to move to Riverview, FL?

As summer approaches, moving companies are preparing for their peak season.  If you are one of the many people planning to move this summer, we want you to have a fantastic experience but that takes preparation.  Here are some things to think about as you begin to prepare for your upcoming move.

Start by making a moving checklist which should include yard sale; donations; buying boxes; mattress bags, packing paper, and tape; hire a mover.

If you are downsizing, you might consider having a yard sale or donating items to charity.  We can help with your donated items by dropping them off at the Salvation Army or Goodwill.

Start collecting boxes and packing materials.   As you pack the boxes, be sure to label which room you want them in when the movers arrive at your new home.  Be sure to pack all your fragile items securely and label the box FRAGILE.

On the day of the move, here are the things you need to do:

·         Disconnect all appliances electronics

·         Disassemble your bed

·         Secure your pets

·         Clear the driveway for the moving truck

Some of the items you are moving you will want to take yourself in your car such as lamps, antiques, small electronics, medications, and any other items you need access to.  If there are items in your home you do not want to be moved, either put them together in one place and tell the movers, or label “do not touch.”

Finally, Mt. Zion Moving is a company you can trust and will provide a stress-free move.  We follow all CDC standards to protect your family as your well being is our priority.
